The division is an american legal proceedings television series created by deborah joy levine and starring bonnie bedelia. The series follows a team of female detectives and police officers from the san francisco police department. The premiere of the series for a lifetime took place on january 7, 2001.[1] and ended on june 28, 2004 after 88 episodes.[2]

Overview[edit]the show focuses on contemporary five female police officers from the criminal warfare division, led by captain kate mccafferty (bonnie bedelia). Nifty plot twists revolved around personal and work ladies and telephone attempts to balance all that, et al. Took place on january 7, 2001[3], it received a rating of 3.1 and "the most active audience of many". Basic original cable series" in its year.[4] after four seasons, the show was canceled on june 28, 2004. It was the second "longest-running scripted series" online. Lifetime network in various time intervals up to the 21st century. In 2008, reruns aired on lifetime real women. Captain caitlin "kate" mccafferty is the sfpd criminal law commander and mother of daughter- teenager.
Inspector ginny ekstead is brought in from a police family and sometimes breaks the rules, which is why she has a disagreement with skipper mccafferty.
Inspector candace "cd." Delorenzo has demons from the past. She retires between seasons three and four as soon as she is shot while baking a job.
Inspector magdalena "magda" ramirez is a single mother to a young son. The saying is not far friends with their partner ginny ekstead.
Inspector angela reed is a brash and no-nonsense investigator. She leaves division by the end of the first season.
Inspector peter torianno is delorenzo's first partner. He leaves the division within the first season.
Inspector nate basso is delorenzo's second partner to join the division in another season. After her departure after season 3, basso becomes rayna washington's partner.
Officer/inspector rayna washington is a new member of the division, having arrived in season 2 after reid's transfer. . In the third season, she is promoted to inspector, and in the final season, perfume becomes basso's partner.
